VIKING RescYou™ Coastal is the smart solution if you boat in coastal or inland waters near rescue points. It is lightweight and easy to transport and fit on board.
Exceeding requirements for ISO 9650-1 Type 2 approval, this model includes a wide range of additional features including an automatically inflatable canopy, innovative boarding ramp providing swift and easy boarding, and full complement of SOLAS flares. Large ballast bags keep the liferaft stable in the water, helping to prevent capsize in heavy seas.
The VIKING RescYou™ Coastal liferaft comes with a specifically designed coastal survival emergency pack that covers all basic needs in coastal rescue situations. The liferaft is ISO 9650-1 Type 2 certified and third party approved by DNV.
The VIKING RescYou™ Coastal liferaft comes in the size of 6 persons and is available in a durable container or water resistant valise.

VIKING RescYou™ Ocean is the traditional liferaft in VIKING’s yachting range for cruising and sport fishing on the open sea.
The insulated double inflatable floor provides hypothermia protection and the two canopy openings offer an excellent view of the horizon plus cross ventilation. Large ballast bags keep the liferaft stable in the water, helping to prevent capsize in very heavy seas
There are no compromises on safety when choosing a VIKING liferaft. The RescYou™ Ocean is naturally both ISO 9650-1 Type 1 certified, ISAF approved and third party verified by DNV.
As a standard, delivered with an ISO II emergency pack. For larger sizes see the variants. Liferafts can also be delivered with SOLAS B (primarily for Spain) or E-pack (for the US).

Upon release from its stowage arrangement, this type of liferaft either slides automatically or is thrown overboard manually. Once waterborne, the liferaft inflates by a firm pull to the painter line.

The VIKING davit launched liferaft is to be connected to the davit and then inflated, thus enabling the evacuees to board the liferaft from deck.
Davit launched liferafts are mainly used on commercial vessel, passenger ships and offshore assets. The liferaft is stowed in a rigid fibreglass container and approved by DNV in accordance with SOLAS/MED requirements and relevant flag state approvals.

VIKING – Throw overboard self-righting liferaft certified by DNV in accordance with SOLAS/MED requirements and the relevant flag state approvals. For use as direct boarding or in connection with chute or slide evacuation system.
- Available with either 12 months service interval or 30 months extended service interval
- High durability with an expected lifespan of 15-20 years
- Available with either A or B SOLAS emergency pack

The Liferaft will be delivered complete with emergency pack SOLAS A or B. The self-righting liferaft is mainly used for commercial vessels, passenger vessels and offshore installations.
The throw overboard self-righting liferaft is released from its cradle and thrown overboard, or slides automatically when released. Once waterborne the liferaft inflates on a hard pull of the painter line and is then ready for boarding.

Liferaft - VIKING, 39DKFS, davit launchable, self-righting
VIKING – Davit launched self-righting liferaft certified by DNV in accordance with SOLAS/MED requirements and relevant flag state approvals. The liferaft will be connected to the davit and inflated, enabling the passengers to board the liferaft from deck.
- Available with either 12 or 30 months extended service interval
- Available with either A or B SOLAS emergency pack
- High durability with an expected lifespan of 15-20 years
- Safe and effective means of dry shoed evacuation
The liferaft will be delivered complete with emergency pack SOLAS A pack or B pack. The 39 persons davit launched self-righting liferaft is mainly used on commercial vessels, passenger vessels and offshore installations. The VIKING davit launched selfrighting liferaft is to be connected to the davit and then inflated at deck level, thus enabling the passengers to board the liferaft from deck. The liferaft is then launched to the water.
VIKING davit launched self-righting liferaft type has a high durabilty with an expected lifespan of 15-20years.
Is available with either 12 months service interval or 30 months extended service interval.

VIKING’s unique training liferafts are similar to commercial liferafts with slight modifications to withstand constant use.
For easy lifting from water there is only one ballast bag on the 12, 16, 20, 25 person davit launched training liferafts and two ballast bags on the 35 persons davit launched for increased stability.
The VIKING davit launched training liferaft comes in sizes from 12 – 35 persons and will be delivered with the standard liferaft equipment and a dummy emergency pack
The VIKING throw overboard training liferaft comes in sizes from 8 – 25 persons and will be delivered with the standard liferaft equipment and a dummy emergency pack.
